Welcome to Gigevate. Our mission is to create a safe, collaborative and vibrant environment where artists, organisers and fans can connect, grow and thrive. These Community Guidelines set the standards for behaviour on Gigevate and help protect the integrity of our community.
By using Gigevate, you agree to follow the standards outlined below.
1.1 Treat Others with Respect
Gigevate is a global community. Harassment, discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability is not tolerated in any form.
1.2 Constructive Communication
Be kind, clear and respectful. Personal attacks, insults or aggressive language are not acceptable. Offer feedback constructively and assume good intent.
1.3 Privacy and Confidentiality
Respect the privacy of others. Never share private messages, contact details, footage, screenshots or any personal information without explicit consent.
2.1 Appropriate Content
All content posted on Gigevate must align with our community values. You must not post content that is
Obscene or sexually explicit
Threatening, abusive or defamatory
Promoting hate, violence or harassment
Unsafe or misleading
Inappropriate for a professional creative environment
This applies to text, images, videos, audio, profiles and links.
2.2 No Spamming or Unsolicited Promotion
Do not send repetitive messages, mass invitations or unrelated promotional content. Promotion is allowed only when relevant and valuable to the conversation.
2.3 Intellectual Property
Only upload content you own or have permission to use. Do not upload copyrighted music, logos or third party content without proper authorisation.
2.4 No Harmful or Illegal Activities
The following actions are strictly prohibited
Scamming or phishing
Impersonation or identity fraud
Sharing malicious files or links
Trying to disrupt or harm the platform
Encouraging criminal or dangerous behaviour
2.5 Platform Misuse
Gigevate must not be used to
Circumvent the booking system
Collect personal data without consent
Push users into off platform payments
Misrepresent yourself or your work
These actions undermine the community and may lead to immediate removal.
3.1 Positive Collaboration
Support fellow community members. Share knowledge, opportunities and encouragement whenever possible.
3.2 Networking Etiquette
When reaching out
Be respectful and intentional
Keep messages professional
Do not pressure others to respond
Respect boundaries if someone declines communication
3.3 Artist and Organiser Interaction
Communication around bookings should remain professional. Misleading information, disrespect or misuse of booking features may result in account restrictions.
4.1 Accurate Information
Profiles must contain truthful and accurate information. Fake accounts, impersonation or misleading profiles are not allowed.
4.2 Account Security
Keep your login details private. Use a strong password and report suspicious activity immediately to Gigevate Support.
4.3 Professional Conduct in Bookings
Users must
Honour commitments
Communicate promptly
Avoid last minute cancellations without valid reason
Respect booking workflows
Failure to do so may result in limitations on your ability to book or be booked.
5.1 Reporting Violations
If you encounter behaviour that violates these Guidelines, report it through the platform’s reporting tools. Provide clear information whenever possible. All reports are confidential.
5.2 Consequences for Violations
Depending on severity, actions may include
Educational warnings
Removal of content
Temporary account suspension
Permanent account removal
Reporting serious misconduct to appropriate authorities
Gigevate reserves the right to take action to protect community safety and platform integrity.
6.1 Compliance with Laws
You must comply with all relevant local and international laws when using Gigevate.
6.2 Respect for the Platform
Users may not attempt to reverse engineer, misuse or damage platform systems or interfere with other users’ experiences.
6.3 Feedback and Improvements
We welcome feedback to help improve Gigevate. Submit suggestions respectfully through official channels.
