Gigevate B.V. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims and the responsibilities of users who upload or share content on the Gigevate platform.
By using Gigevate, you agree to comply with this Copyright Policy.
This policy sets out Gigevate’s procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims. It explains how to submit a Notice of Infringement, how to submit a Counter Notification, and how Gigevate responds to repeated or serious violations.
2.1 Notification Requirements
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used without permission on Gigevate, you may submit a Notice of Infringement. Your Notice must include
A physical or electronic signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or a representative list if multiple works are involved
Identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for Gigevate to locate it on the platform
Your full contact information including name, address, telephone number and email address
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, their agent or the law
A statement that the information in the Notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Incomplete Notices may delay the review process.

3.1 Counter Notification Requirements
If your content has been removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a Counter Notification that includes
Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled
A description of where the material appeared on the platform before it was removed
Your name, address, telephone number and email address
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands
Counter Notifications may be sent to any of the copyright contacts listed above.
3.2 Restoration of Content
If your Counter Notification is valid, Gigevate may restore the removed content unless the original complainant notifies us that they have initiated legal action within the legally required timeframe.
4.1 Compliance with Copyright Law
Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they upload to Gigevate does not violate copyright or other intellectual property rights. You must only upload content that you own or are authorised to use.
4.2 Licence to Use
By uploading content to the platform, you confirm that you have the legal right to share it and that you grant Gigevate a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, distribute, adapt, publish and display the content in connection with Gigevate’s services.
You also grant other users a limited licence to view and interact with your content as intended by the platform.
5.1 Removal of Infringing Content
Upon receipt of a valid Notice of Infringement, Gigevate will remove or restrict access to the identified content and may notify the user who posted it.
5.2 Repeat Infringers
Gigevate may suspend or permanently terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. A repeat infringer is any user who
Receives more than two valid copyright complaints, or
Has more than two pieces of content removed for infringement
5.3 Legal Action
Where necessary, Gigevate may take legal action against users who repeatedly or intentionally infringe copyright, including seeking damages or injunctions.
Gigevate may update this Copyright Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
