HOW PAYMENTS STAY SAFE ON GIGEVATE

No ghosting. No stress. No chasing money.
Gigevate uses escrow to secure every booking so both artists and organisers know the money is protected from the moment the offer is accepted.

Funds are held safely. Payments are released only when the performance is confirmed complete.
Everyone gets what they agreed to. Every time.

SECURE PAYMENTS THAT PROTECT EVERYONE

WHAT ESCROW MEANS FOR YOU

Escrow is a secure holding account that keeps money safe until the gig is complete so artists and organisers can book with confidence and ease of mind.

FOR ORGANISERS

You pay the full amount into escrow and it stays locked until the event is completed. You never risk sending money to someone who does not show up. Every booking has a clear money trail and you stay in control from offer to payout.

FOR ARTISTS

You know the organiser’s payment is already secured in escrow before you perform. No more failed deposits or unpaid gigs. Once the performance is confirmed on Gigevate the payout is triggered and your money starts moving to your account.

FOR BOTH SIDES

Both sides are protected from start to finish. No one can touch the money early and funds only move after the gig is confirmed. If there is ever a dispute the money stays in escrow while the issue is reviewed so the scene can keep moving with trust.

Secure Bookings. Protected Payments. Powered by Trustap.

WHY GIGEVATE USES ESCROW

The electronic music scene runs on trust yet payments often break that trust. Escrow keeps the full booking amount in a protected holding account so neither side carries the risk. Organisers see their money reserved from the start so they can book talent with confidence instead of worrying about fraud or last minute cancellations.

Artists know their fee is already locked in which means no ghosted invoices no missing deposits and no unpaid sets after the show. Once the organiser confirms that the performance is complete the funds are released from escrow to the artist within a few days so everyone receives what they agreed and the culture keeps moving forward.

a simple secure process

HOW GIGEVATE PAYMENTS WORK

Every gig on Gigevate runs through a secure escrow account. The organiser pays in once the offer is accepted. The money stays locked until the performance is completed so both sides can book with confidence.

Secure payment process with Trustap showing how Gigevate protects deposits and payouts for artists and organisers.

Step 1 Organiser pays booking

The organiser confirms the gig and pays the full agreed amount through Gigevate. The booking is now locked in and visible to both sides.

Step 2 Funds secured in escrow

The money moves into a protected escrow account where it is held safely. No one can touch these funds while the event is still upcoming.

Step 3 Cancellation protection

If the gig is cancelled within the agreed rules the escrow balance is used to protect both sides. Funds are returned to the organiser or paid to the artist based on the cancellation terms so no one is left guessing.

Step 4 Artist performs

On the event date the artist plays the show as agreed. Once the performance is finished the organiser confirms that the gig is complete on Gigevate.

Step 5 Dispute protection

If there is any problem both sides can raise a dispute. The payout is paused while the situation is reviewed so the money stays safe until there is a clear outcome.

Step 6 Payout released

When the gig is confirmed or a dispute is resolved the escrow account releases the funds to the artist. Payouts are processed within up to three working days depending on bank processing times and in some cases they can arrive almost instantly.

Cancellations are handled based on our cancellation policy and the Trustap terms. If a booking is cancelled within the protection window, funds can be refunded or partially released, depending on what was agreed between both parties.

Funds will not be released until the organiser marks the gig as complete. If they fail to do so, the artist can raise a dispute through Trustap’s system, and Gigevate will support the resolution process with any available evidence.

If an artist fails to perform and does not provide a valid reason, the organiser can raise a dispute. Trustap will then assess the case and decide if a refund is due.
