Gigevate is currently available in regions where both Stripe and Trustap are supported, enabling secure payments and full booking protection.

We are live in most of Europe, North America, and Australia, and expanding fast. If you are based in a country with full coverage, you can start building your profile, booking gigs, and getting paid with confidence.

FREQUENTLY ASKED questions

Once an organiser sends a booking offer, the full payment is held securely in escrow through Trustap. After the event is completed and confirmed, the funds are released to the artist through Stripe. This ensures that both parties are protected throughout.

 

Escrow is a secure holding account that keeps funds safe until both sides fulfil their part of the agreement. On Gigevate, escrow protects the artist from cancellations and the organiser from no-shows or underperformance. It’s the foundation of trust between both parties.

 

Trustap is our official escrow partner. They are a verified third-party provider that securely holds and releases funds based on milestones, like a completed gig.

 

Once the organiser marks the gig as complete, funds are typically released within 24–48 hours via Stripe. You will get a notification when payout is initiated.

 

Yes. Both artists and organisers can track the full flow in the Gigevate dashboard: from offer sent, to deposit made, to funds released.

 

Yes. We use Stripe to ensure fast, reliable, and global payouts. Artists must set up their Stripe account during onboarding to receive funds.

 

Yes, there is a small platform fee to cover the escrow and payout process. This is included in the booking and will always be clearly shown before confirmation.

Cancellations are handled based on our cancellation policy and the Trustap terms. If a booking is cancelled within the protection window, funds can be refunded or partially released, depending on what was agreed between both parties.

 

Funds will not be released until the organiser marks the gig as complete. If they fail to do so, the artist can raise a dispute through Trustap’s system, and Gigevate will support the resolution process with any available evidence.

 

If an artist fails to perform and does not provide a valid reason, the organiser can raise a dispute. Trustap will then assess the case and decide if a refund is due.

 

Disputes are submitted directly through Trustap and reviewed using available booking evidence, communications, and timelines. Gigevate may also support the claim with internal logs. Trustap makes a fair resolution based on proof.

 

Refunds are possible depending on the circumstances of the cancellation or dispute. All refund policies will be shown at the time of booking. For any issues, please open a case directly with Trustap.

No. All bookings on Gigevate go through our secure escrow flow. This protects everyone involved and prevents payment issues. It’s part of what makes the platform trusted.

 

Yes. Organisers and artists can discuss the offer inside the platform before payment is made. Once both sides agree, the offer can be confirmed and funds deposited.

 

Minor changes (like times or rider info) can be updated via the chat, but any major changes require both parties to approve a new offer or cancel the previous one.

 

Yes. Gigevate supports multiple bookings and recurring gigs. Each one will have its own payment flow and protection, so nothing gets lost.

Gigevate is currently available in select countries supported by both Trustap and Stripe. At the moment, we do not support users based in South Africa, Russia, India, or certain regions without Stripe or Trustap coverage.

Yes. Stripe requires basic identity verification to process payouts. You will be asked to upload a valid ID and banking information securely during setup.

 

Yes. We follow strict GDPR guidelines and your personal data is protected. All sensitive data is handled via Trustap and Stripe’s secure systems.

Traditional payment methods do not offer protection for both parties. Trustap allows us to build a trusted booking ecosystem where the money is only released once the job is done. It keeps everyone accountable.

 

With manual payments, there is no protection or verification. With Gigevate, the platform tracks every step of the booking process and ensures funds are only released when both sides agree it is complete.
